In Quebec, the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) was looking to boost awareness and membership applications for 2019–2020, and asked Camden to create a digital campaign that would get them there.

Our goal? Encourage employers and potential clients to use the Order’s certified language professionals, foster pride among those professionals, and stimulate accreditation among non-members with the right skills.

Bigger picture

In a world of online tools and self-proclaimed translators, it can be hard to show people the added value of an OTTIAQ certification (on both the supplier and client side).

Starting from the vital role the Order’s members play in achieving corporate communication goals, we created a concept urging the audience to get their communications “in Order.”

Programmatic advertising and a strong presence on key Radio-Canada and La Presse platforms delivered high impact content to the business community in relevant digital contexts. The agency also designed lenticular posters to bring the campaign to life at OTTIAQ headquarters.

la Pensée rebelle

“We’re an ad agency – so words matter to us. As stewards of our clients’ communications, we know that words can make or break a message, and online tools can cause more problems than they solve. Getting the campaign right – and supporting the work of certified language professionals – was something we took very seriously.”

John Dutton, VP Creation at Camden.
